Past WW2 Games. Louviers Assault.

Was going through one of my USB sticks today and found some photos of past games we played  at my brother's place.
These ones are from 2004 before Bolt Action. We had our own set of rules that were a mixture of Rapid Fire and 40k.

The British Paras lead the Allied Assault over the bridge.

The Germans wait in ambush.

The US and British move down the road.

After a sluggish battle to clear the first town, the Allies push forward for the main town.

A Panther a day keeps the Sherman away.

Follow them tanks lads.

Showdown at the O.K Coral.

The Allies get bogged down trying to take the main town.

In the end we decided to wrap up the game as it got late and that the Alies would have won as they had taken most of the board and the Germans were out numbered.

German Heer in Afghanistan

I've had some German infantry that I painted up a while ago for one of my ISAF armies and two Marder IFV's that where waiting to be built.
So being on leave at the moment I puled my finger out and built one.

They are cheap 1/48 scale KITECH kits which are not to bad once there finished.

With stowage added

WW2 German Falschirmjaegers

These are some of the latest painted minis to be added to my WW2 collection.
They are a mixture of Bolt Action, First Corps and Foundry minis.

All painted by Neil Milne.

They are all part of my vast WW2 range that I will be putting photos up of in the future.

Rorke's Drift

Took a trip out to Hall of Heroes in Campbelltown today, and they had a fantastic game of "Warlord Game's" Rorke's Drift.
Took some pics of the nicely painted minis. Enjoy.

Empress Modern Australian Infantry

These are some of the new modern Aussie Infantry that will be coming out this year from Empress.
Can't wait.

They are based on my good mate Nathan Vincent from Elite Minuatures, who provided Empress with all the info and photos from when he was in Afghanistan.

They are in  the new Crye Precion uniform (Multicam) that was only available to Spec Ops at first, but is now available as general issue to all personel in Afghanistan.
